Seven years of making the web behave

Independent web designer and front-end developer. Brand sites, product marketing, and the 3D work in between.

One project, up close

Clink

Clink is a design and engineering studio that ships both halves of a project with the same team. The site runs black on black, so atmosphere carries it: a slow WebGL field behind everything, and the pricing tiers revealed on a rotating 3D carousel.

The constraint
Black on black with no second color to lean on. Hierarchy had to come from depth, scale, and how slowly things move.
The idea
The 3D is atmosphere for most of the page, then does one piece of real work at the pricing reveal.
The build
One WebGL context for the whole site, a rotating carousel for the tiers, and a static fallback so nothing breaks without it.

What I actually do

Working on a site late at night

Brand and marketing sites

Sites for products and studios that need to look worth the money.

3D and WebGL

Shader backgrounds, 3D scenes, and motion that holds sixty frames on a laptop.

Product and app UI

Interfaces for tools, editors, and dashboards. Dense screens that stay readable.

Front-end build

React and Next.js, built by the person who designed it.

Art direction

Type, color, and imagery decided once, then held across the whole site.

How a project runs

Scope

We start with a call and a short written brief. I need to know what the site has to do, who it is for, and what already exists: copy, brand, screenshots, anything. Then I send back a fixed price and a delivery date, so there are no moving numbers later.

Design

I design in the browser as much as in Figma, because motion and type at real scale do not survive a static mockup. You see the first pass within a week and we review it live, not as flat images. Two rounds of revisions are included, and usually one is enough.

A working design file

Ship

I build what I designed, so nothing gets lost in handoff. You get the deployed site, the repo, and a walkthrough of the parts you will want to change yourself. If something breaks in the first month, I fix it.

Avan Kottapalli

I have been designing and building for the web for seven years, mostly for founders who need a site that makes the product look worth paying attention to.

I like tight constraints: one color, one screen, one idea. I design and build the same site, so nothing gets lost between the two.
